Public Safety Officials Predict 2 Million More Uninsured Drivers

Under the existing no-fault system, every driver is guaranteed up to $10,000 in medical expenses after an accident no matter who was at fault. If the no-fault and PIP laws expire on October 1, that guarantee will disappear. With officials predicting a dramatic increase in the number of uninsured drivers, more accident victims will now have to fight to get their medical expenses paid.
