Dear Governor Crist, President Pruitt and Speaker Rubio:
There is some unfinished business from this year's regular session that needs to be taken up during the fall special session. It costs us more than $40,000 a day for the Legislature to be in Tallahassee, and we'd like to get our money's worth.
Allowing PIP and no-fault insurance to sunset will put Florida's drivers and our health care system at risk. Instead of ignoring the problem or rushing to pass ill-considered reform legislation, pass an extension of the current law and spend the next six months working on a new law that everyone can support.
The undersigned Florida voters call on you to expand the scope of special session to include this important issue.
